With over 1,200,000 already brewed in the pot the board read 
and Kent Buckingham checked to Dave Alfa who fired in a bet of 625,000 and after giving it some thought Buckingham made the call.
The 
fell on the river and Buckingham checked once again and Alfa bet 800,000 which was enough to force Buckingham to lay down the hand.

Nathanael Kogel opened for 50,000 from middle position and Jeffrey Frye three-bet jammed on the button for 625,000. The blinds folded and action was back on Kogel who called.

eliminating him from the tournament.
All of the chips went in the middle preflop and Tim Burden was at risk for his 255,000 chips against David J Valden Jr.
