Cahan Sends Scott Into the Tank

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Action was on the river as the board showed {3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Neil Scott bet 6,500 and he was raised to 30,000 by Ethan Cahan.

"I like the play," said Scott as he started to think it out.

After over a minute he gave up his cards and showed the {q-Spades} trying to get a little information from Cahan. However, Cahan would give none as he stayed silent, sent his cards to the muck, and collected his newfound chips.

Izadi Shows Straight Flush

Hamid Izadi
Hamid Izadi

Action was on the river on a board that read {3-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{2-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. Hamid Izadi bet 21,000 into a pot that looked to be roughly 15,000.

After several moments of thought, his opponent Dustin Stewart folded.

Izadi said "Straight flush" and showed the {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} to confirm the appearance of the ultra rare hand as he pulled in the pot.

Hudson Befuddles Cheung

Level 9 : 400/800, 800 ante

Robert Cheung bet 8,000 into a pot of about 10,000 on the turn with the board reading {5-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{7-Spades}. Christopher Hudson called.

The river came the {8-Hearts} and Hudson seized the initiative by leading out with a bet of 10,800. That sent Cheung into the tank. After over a minute, Cheung laid it down and flashed the {6-Diamonds} showing he was folding a straight.

Hudson showed one card as well, the {q-Clubs} before taking in the chips.
