Dixon Rives Straight and Gets Paid

Level 6 : 200/400, 400 ante

On the turn with the board reading {j-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and roughly 13,000 in the middle Edward Dixon was faced with a bet of 6,600 and made the call.

The river was the {10-Clubs} and Dixon's opponent checked before he fired in a bet of 10,300 which put the opponent in the tank. "You have pocket tens don't you," he said to Dixon.

Dixon replied, "I missed my flush."

After another ten seconds of thinking he eventually called and Dixon tabled {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for a straight to the jack and in disbelieve his opponent showed {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts} for a set of jacks.

Stellatos Slays Royal Family With Aces

Level 5 : 200/300, 300 ante
Gregory Stellatos
Gregory Stellatos

Gregory Stelllatos was all in preflop and in a poker player's dream scenario as he held {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} and was covering both of his opponents, one of which had the {k-Hearts}{k-Spades} and the other had the {q-Hearts}{q-}.

The flop was a crazy one that immediately sewed it up as it came {k-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} to the delight of Stellatos who had already pulled out his phone camera to show the big hand. The turn {3-Spades} and river {10-Clubs} finished it out and gave Stellatos all of the chips of his defeated opponents.

Double Elimination for Mandel

Level 5 : 200/300, 300 ante
Lloyd Mandel
Lloyd Mandel

After a series of raises preflop, LLoyd Mandel had found himself in a great scenario putting both Kevin Saul at risk for 24,000 and Jason Reels for 21,700 and all three hands were exposed.

Jason Reels: {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Kevin Saul: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
LLoyd Mandel: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

Mandel had both players covered and the best hand with pocket aces and the flop came {10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{8-Spades} changing nothing. The {9-Diamonds} fell on the turn giving both opponents a gutshot straight draw but the {10-Diamonds} on the river was a brick and Mandel eliminated both Saul and Reels from the tournament.

McNeal Surges With Straight

Level 4 : 100/200, 200 ante
Antoine McNeal
Antoine McNeal

Action was picked up on the flop that read {j-Spades}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}. Antoine McNeal called the bet of 5,800 of his opponent after a few mometns of thought.

The turn was the {8-Clubs}. The initial bettor made another bet of 13,500. McNeal confirmed the amount before making the call after about a minute, accidentally putting too much in for the call. "That's ok if you want to add to the pot" said his opponent. "I plan on taking it anyway" said McNeal as they went to the river which came the {9-Diamonds}.

McNeal was then first to act and moved all in which had his opponents remaining amount of about 35,000 covered. His opponent immediately knew he was in for a big decision as he uncomfortably shifted in his chair and shook his head. He mulled it over deeply before calling after about two minutes.

McNeal flipped over the straight with the {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and his opponent rolled over the defeated {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} as McNeal collected the huge pot.

Aqel's Set Gets Maximum

Level 4 : 100/200, 200 ante

The action began with a player in early position raising to 600 and Donathan Barfield three-bet next to act to 2,100 which everyone folded to except Ala Aqel on the button.

The flop fell {j-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and Barfield continued for 3,000 which Aqel called. The turn was the {2-Diamonds} and Barfield didn't slow down, this time firing a bet of 7,000 which Aqel called once again.

The {q-Hearts} landed on the river and Barfield fired for the third time for 12,000 and Aqel wasted no time announcing all-in for 29,700. Barfield went into the tank for a long period of time and another player on the table called the clock. After about another 20 seconds Barfield splashed in the chips to call and both hands were tabled. Barfield showed {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} for top pair top kicker and Aqel tabled {4-Clubs}{4-Spades} for a set of fours to double through Barfield and leave him short.

Level 4 : 100/200, 200 ante

On the turn with 12,500 in the middle, the board read {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} and Lloyd Mandel checked before Jason Reels fired out a stack of 1,000 chips, Mandel asked how much it was. After finding out it was 6,000 Mandel moved all-in for 17,100 and Reels quickly called.

Jason Reels: {k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Lloyd Mandel: {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

Mandel was ahead of with a pair of aces and managed to dodge Reels' massive pair and flush draw when the {3-Spades} fell on the river.
