Kalkan Takes Chip Lead

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The flop read {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} with around 10,000 in the middle. Ismail Kalkan checked in the cutoff and Igor Tsymbal bet 11,000. Kalkan raised to 22,000 and now Tsymbal three-bet to 61,000. Kalkan responded with a shove having Tsymbal covered. Tsymbal called for the 95,000 he had behind.

Igor Tsymbal: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}
Ismail Kalkan: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}

Tsymbal had the overpair but Kalkan had flopped a set.

The rest of the board was completed with the {4-Spades} on the turn and the {10-Hearts} on the river to not provide any danger to Kalkan to take him up to 235,000 and the top of the chip counts for now.

Bise Wins With a Flush

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The board read {4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} with around 26,000 in the middle already.

Emil Bise had checked in the small blind and Andrej Imrich bet 14,000 from the cutoff. Shabtay Eikilis called on the button and so did Bise after confirming the amount of the bet again.

The {7-Clubs} completed the board and they all checked. Eikilis flipped over {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades} immediately after checking for two pair, nines and fours but Bise showed {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for the flopped flush and that was enough for Imrich to muck and Bise to cheer loudly.

Gehrmann Sends Ayow Away

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Michael Gehrmann raised to 3,200 from under the gun and was called by Kevin Ayow on the button.

The flop came {4-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}, Gehrmann continued with a bet of 3,300 and Ayow called again.

The turn brought them the {7-Diamonds}, Gehrmann barreled a bet of 5,200 over the line. Ayow considered his options and decided to raise to 20,000, leaving himself behind with 6,800. Gehrmann confirmed the raise with the dealer and then announced all-in. Ayow snap-called.

Kevin Ayow: {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}
Michael Gehrmann: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

Ayow had flopped a pair of fives and Gehrmann was ahead as he had flopped the higher pair of jacks.

The board was completed with the {6-Spades} on the river to not bring any help to Ayow as he was eliminated.

Eyal Bensimhon
Eyal Bensimhon

Eyal Bensimhon raised to 2,500 from the cutoff and was called by Siamak Tooran on the button, and Ahmad Achegsei and Bleron Maliqi in the blinds.

The flop came {3-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts} for both Achegsei and Maliqi to check. Bensimhon continued with a bet of 5,500 which both Tooran and Achegsei called.

The turn brought them the {7-Clubs}, Achegsei checked again, Bensimhon did the same and now Tooran bet 11,200. Achegsei quickly folded and Bensimhon checked out Tooran's stack. After contemplating for a while, Bensimhon put in 95,000 which more than covered Tooran as he had around 34,000 behind. Tooran snap-called.

Siamak Tooran: {j-Spades}{8-Spades}
Eyal Bensimhon: {a-Spades}{5-Clubs}

Tooran had flopped a flush draw and added an open-ended straight draw as extra outs on the turn while Bensimhon had a pair of fives.

The river completed the board with the {2-Hearts} for Bensimhon's pair of fives to hold to eliminate Tooran from the Main Event.
