Putz Puts His Foot Down

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Christopher Putz was sitting on a significantly bigger stack compared to the start of the day. The Fuchsbau team member was kind enough to tell the live reporting team what had happened.

At the end of the previous level, Mikkel Goeth raised to 16,000 from the small blind and Christopher Putz defended his big blind.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{5-}{3-Hearts}, Goeth check-raised Putz's bet of 13,000 to 40,000 and Putz called.

The turn brought them the {k-Clubs}, Goeth now shoved for around 175,000 and Putz tanked. The clock was called and Putz called.

Mikkel Goeth: {k-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Christopher Putz: {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

Goeth had a flush draw and turned a pair of kings but Putz had flopped a pair of aces.

The river was a {5-Clubs} and Goeth was eliminated.
