Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

Shirin Oskooi is up above the starting stack on Level 2, adding a small pot to the stack in a three-way hand.

The under-the-gun player, the small blind, and Oskooi, in the big blind, went three ways to a flop of {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}. All three players checked.

All three players also checked through the {8-Spades} turn and {k-Hearts} river, and Oskooi's {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs} was the winner.

Bloesch Hits Trips, Gets Chips

Level 1 : 100/100, 0 ante

Tone Bloesch opened from under the gun, Ryan Pham raised to 800 from the big blind, and Bloesch called.

Both players checked the {4-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop. Pham bet 800 on the {q-Spades} turn, Bloesch raised to 3,000, Pham three-bet to 7,800, and Bloesch called.

Pham bet 15,000 on the {8-Hearts} river, and Bloesch called. Pham immediately indicated that Bloesch's call was correct, and indeed it was, as Bloesch's {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} was best against Pham's {8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. The early big pot puts Bloesch over the 50k chip mark in the first level of Day 1b.
