Clint Ronnse Knocks Out Two

Level 14 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Clint Ronnse just knocked out two players.

According to Sam Cosby, one of the eliminated players opened to 4,500 preflop and got two callers, including Ronnse on the button.

The flop came {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{8-Spades} and the action checked to Ronnse who bet 7,000. The next player raised to 16,000 and both opponents called.

The turn was the {9-Spades} and the under the gun player shoved for about 40,000. The next player moved all in for 50,000 and Ronnse called.

He showed {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} against the {q-Spades}{j-Spades} and {a-Spades}{10-Spades} of both his opponents.

The river gave Ronnse the pot when the {9-Clubs} paired the board, giving him a full house to beat his opponents flushes.

Underwood Doubles Through Zhang

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

With more than 50,000 in the pot, and the board showing {6-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}, Haixia Zhang checked from early position.

Ben Underwood went all in for his remaining 39,000, and Zhang went into the tank.

She eventually decided on a call, but saw the bad news when Underwood turned over {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for a rivered two pair. The big pot put Underwood up to the 147,000 mark as Day 1b winds down.
