Williams Doubles Through Zhang

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Haixia Zhang open raised from early position, Cy Williams three-bet shoved for 19,400, and Zhang called, having Williams covered.

Cy Williams: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Haixia Zhang: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Board: {7-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

Both players hit a pair of kings on the river, but Williams took the pot and doubled up with the superior kicker.

Oskooi Back in the Mix

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Four players went to a {5-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop. Shirin Oskooi bet 1,000 from the small blind, and got calls from the big blind and the button.

All three remaining players checked the {j-Clubs} turn. Oskooi bet 3,000 on the {5-Clubs} river, the big blind called, and the button folded.

Oskooi took down the pot, turning over {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for the winner.

From Around the Room

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Andreas Kniep
Andreas Kniep

Lexy Gavin just doubled up, her pocket threes besting her opponent's {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. She's back to 22,000 after the win.

Peter Pal is up to the 155,000 chip mark, which is in the upper echelon of chip stacks as Day 1b winds down.

Andreas Kniep, who's up to 213,000, is seated at the same table as JC Tran, a late entry who's coming of a win in the $3,250 High Roller yesterday.

Miller Doubles Through Bui

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Daniel Kozakevich opened to 3,000 in early position, Adam Miller three-bet all in to 27,500 from the hijack, Ted Bui four-bet shoved over the top for 63,300, and Kozakevich folded pocket jacks face up.

Miller and Bui went heads-up to the showdown.

Adam Miller: {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Ted Bui: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

Board: {3-Spades}{a-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

Miller's ace came in on the flop, and informed Bui that they're now even. Apparently Bui got the best of Miller in an earlier hand, and as of Level 12 both are still in the mix.

Azevedo Hanging In

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The pot was over 15,000 on the turn, and Frank Azevedo made his move with {5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Spades} on the board.

Playing from under the gun, Azevedo overbet shoved for his remaining 27,000, sending his button opponent into the tank.

The button player eventually decided to fold, and Azevedo took in some much-needed chips.
