Ramon Eliminated by Greenwood

Level 8 : 35,000/70,000, 8,500 ante

Sam Greenwood open-shoved for 2.6 million in the small blind and Vicent B Ramon called off in the big blind with a stack of one million.

Vicent B Ramon: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Sam Greenwood: {4-Spades}{4-Hearts}

Things looked excellent for Ramon on the {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} flop and the {q-Spades} on the turn did not change things. However, Greenwood spiked a two-outer when the {4-Clubs} peeled off on the river and Ramon was eliminated in brutal fashion.

Dvoress Eliminated as Filatov Takes Chip Lead

Level 8 : 35,000/70,000, 8,500 ante

Anatoly Filatov three-bet to 589,995 in the small blind and Daniel Dvoress called after opening on the button. Filatov fired for 397,373 on the {3-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop and Dvoress called. Both players checked on the {5-Spades} turn and Dvoress jammed for 1.7 million on the {8-Diamonds} river.

Filatov put in the call and showed {a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} for a pair of sixes, and it was good against the king-high of Dvoress with {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}.

"real niki" Bluffs into Flush of Dvoress

Level 7 : 30,000/60,000, 7,500 ante

Daniel Dvoress opened to 120,000 in the cutoff and "real niki" defended in the big blind. "real niki" then raised to 252,000 on the monotone {a-Spades}{10-Spades}{4-Spades} flop and Dvoress called. Both players checked on the {j-Clubs} turn and "real niki" moved in for 1.1 million and Dvoress called with slightly less.

"real niki" showed a stone bluff with {5-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Dvoress took down the pot with {k-Spades}{7-Spades} for a flopped flush.

Nikonorov Eliminated by Klodnicki

Level 6 : 25,000/50,000, 6,000 ante

Andrei "Mr-Doberman" Nikonorov open-shoved for 537144 on the button and Chris Klodnicki called in the big blind with his opponent covered.

Andrei "Mr-Doberman" Nikonorov: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
Chris Klodnicki: {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}

It looked like Nikonorov might double on the {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades}{j-Hearts} board, but Klodnicki spiked the {10-Hearts} on the river to eliminate his opponent.

Nines Hold for Trisch

Level 6 : 25,000/50,000, 6,000 ante

In a single-raised heads-up pot, Vicent B Ramon continued with a bet of 60,940 in the cutoff on the {8-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} flop and Sebastian Trisch called in the big blind. Ramon fired for 299,160 on the {k-Hearts} turn and Trisch again called. Both players checked on the {5-Diamonds} river and Trisch showed {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for a pair of nines, which was good against the {j-Clubs}{10-Spades} of Ramon.
