Wieser Eliminated by Koleckar

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Matthias Wieser three-bet jammed for the last 21,800 in late position and was called by the initial raiser Jakub Koleckar.

Wieser's {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds} were ahead of {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs} but the {9-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs} board brought running clubs for the flush to improve Koleckar.

Paunescu Busts Kabrhel

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Some 40,000 were in the middle until the {q-Spades}{8-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{4-Hearts} river on which Ciprian Paunescu then pushed all-in for 56,000. Martin Kabrhel, who had jumped in late, was a non believer and called as he suspected a bluff. Paunescu tabled the {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} for trips eights and Kabrhel flung his cards into the muck where they could not be retrieved anymore.

Kabrhel re-entered to then bust again in quick succession before firing the third and final bullet moments later.

Ricci Makes Uzzo Pay On The River

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

On a board of {q-Spades}{4-Spades}{q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs} Andrea Ricci made a bet of 35,000 which was just short of a pot-sized bet. After a few moments in the tank Nicola Uzzo eventually found a call to see Ricci back-doored into a flush with {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}.

Tangenes Jams Into Ghashayar

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Endre Tangenes raised it up to 3,500 and then called a three-bet to 8,500 by Iman Ghashayar. As they headed to the {7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop, Tangenes check-raised from 6,000 to 16,500. Ghashayar clicked it back to 40,000 for more than half of his remaining stack and Tangenes then moved all-in.

A pained Ghashayar sighed immediately and then sent his cards into the muck half a minute later.

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Anil Ataoglu raised it up to then fold when Roland Dietz pushed all-in with a short stack from the cutoff and Marius Iftimia called in the small blind.

Roland Dietz: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Marius Iftimia: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

The {7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} board kept the superior pair ahead and Dietz doubled for 21,900 to nearly reach the starting stack again.

Johnna's Big Show Without Any Drama

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Ercan Hasan raised to 3,600 and picked up two callers including John Johnna from one seat over. They headed to the {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{j-Spades} flop on which the action checked through. The big blind then check-folded the {9-Clubs} turn when Hasan bet 5,000 and Johnna called.

After the {8-Spades} river, Hasan checked and the very talkative Johnna was trying to get any kind of reaction. He prepared a bet of 10,500, then changed it to 12,500. Hasan briefly considered his options and folded the {10-Spades}{9-Spades} face up.
