Welcome to Day 1b of the 2022 WSOP International Circuit Rozvadov €1,700 Main Event

Action will be live at King's Resort in Rozvadov for continuing coverage of the 2022 WSOP International Circuit. The flagship WSOPC Spring Edition €1,700 Main Event takes the stage with a guaranteed prize pool of €1,000,000. With cards in the air at 2 p.m. local time, poker enthusiasts from near and far will aim to make it all the way through the nine scheduled levels.

Each level will last 60 minutes with a break after every two levels and all participants receive 50,000 chips each. Shall they run out of chips entirely, they can take advantage of up to two re-entries throughout the day. Furthermore, the late registration for the marquee event remains open for the first two levels on Day 2 as well.

Day 1a of the €1,700 Main Event has seen 87 players advance to Day 2 of the tournament from a field of 261 entries. Hungary's Tibor Nagygyörgy currently leads the way with 479,100 chips.

Notable names who did not make it through Day 1a who are expected to return for Day 1b include Belgian former November Niner Pierre Neuville who will be looking to make Day 2 after firing three bullets on Friday. Other players expected to join the action once more are Albert Hoekendijk, Raoul Refos, Symeon Alexandridis, Silviu Baltateanu, Sebastian Langrock, and Claudio Di Giacomo

The top 12 of this event will receive a seat to the WSOP Europe Main Event worth €10,350 as well as their cash prize. Not only does the winner of this tournament win the coveted WSOP Circuit Ring but they will also earn a seat for the WSOP Tournament of Champions at the end of the 2022 WSOP in Las Vegas, which offers a guaranteed prize pool of $1,000,000.

Gehrmann Wins Against Neuville Without Showdown

Joining the action on the heads-up turn of {k-Spades}{j-Spades}{5-Spades}{7-Spades}, Pierre Neuville bet 2,000 in the hijack and Michael Gehrmann called in the cutoff. The {7-Diamonds} fell on the river and Neuville now checked. Gehrmann bet 3,500 and Neuville folded the {a-Diamonds} with a smile on the face.

Usta's Aces Cracked; Early Double-Up for Karymov

Three players viewed a flop of {7-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}.

Ibrahim Usta opened for 2,700. After a call from Tomasso Bonni; Martin Karymov raised to 10,800, Usta responded by putting all of his chips in the middle. Bonni folded but Karymov mulled over his decision and eventually called.

Karymov had flopped bottom two pair while Usta held the overpair.

The {6-Diamonds} on the turn gave them chopping out but the {j-Hearts} kept Karymov ahead as he cracked Usta's pocket rockets.

Five way to the {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop with 2,500 each invested, the action checked to Bob Bielen on the button and he bet 4,000. Emil Bise called in the blinds, as did Pierre Neuville and Michael Gehrmann while Patricke Zehnder folded. The {9-Hearts} turn was checked to Bielen once more and his bet of 15,000 got through uncontested for him to flash the {q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}.
