Saleh Jams The Flop
Level 19
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
The table mocked the red-hot running Renat Bohdanov for folding preflop and what followed was a raise by Christian Berg from one seat over. Elias Abou Saleh defended the big blind and check-jammed the flop for 135,000. Berg had invested 16,000 and asked if Saleh had a queen.
"I have my queen here," the Lebanese said and pointed to the dealer. More table chat followed and Berg folded as Saleh then added he had a flush draw.
In the meanwhile, Albert Hoekendijk chipped up through Jason Wheeler when he defended the small blind. Wheeler wisely checked behind the river and was shown the for a straight.
"Do you usually defend that?" Wheeler asked and Hoekendijk replied "small blind special".
