Hulme Runs Into Aces and Busts

Min Ji opened the action with a raise from the hijack to 3,500 and got called by Paul Vas Nunes on the button. The player in the small blind called and then Andrew Hulme pushed all in from the big blind. Nunes called and players flipped their cards.

The board ran out and Nunes' aces held up. Hulme was eliminated from the tournament.

Hulme was, however, still within time to reenter. Shortly after he fired his second bullet and is now back on a starting stack.

Kevin Houghton raised to 3,000 and got called by the small blind. Jamie Nixon reshoved with a short stack from the big blind and Nixon called. The cards were flipped on their backs. Nixon was the player at risk and Houghton also had most of his chips in the middle.

Nixon was well ahead until the board ran out to give Houghton a pair of fives on the flop. Nixon was eliminated from the tournament.

Allen's Five-Bet Gets Through

Gunmeet Dhingra raised and Jack Allen three-bet to 8,500. Fabio Sperling then four-bet 20,000 chips and action folded back around to Allen, who used a time bank card before shoving all in. Sperling went into the tank, looking across the table and rubbing his chin before finally mucking his hand.

Allen's five-bet got through and he scooped the pot to bring him over the 100k mark.

Alan Stearn raised to 4,000 from the cutoff and got called by Fionn Macnamara in the small blind and Jessica Pilkington in the big blind.

The flop came and action checked around to Stearn, who made it 6,000. Macnamara check-raised all in for Stearn's remaining 25,000 chips and Stearn made the fold.

Pawel Stock opened the action with a raise from middle position and picked up multiple calls from Yiannis Liperis, Artan Dedusha on the button, Dahn Tran in the small blind and Paul Dawkins in the big blind.

The flop came and action checked to Liperis, who bet out 2,500. Dedusha called and Tran raised to 10,000. Liperis and Dedusha both called, and all other players vacated the pot.
