Khaled Aljoma

Christopher Tran three-bet from the hijack to 3,600. Khaled Aljoma had been the initial raiser and called the three-bet from middle position.

The flop came 48J. Tran continued for 3,600 and Aljoma raised to 9,000. Tran then three-bet all in for 37,300. Aljouma thought for a bit and got the count before eventually calling.

Christopher Tran: KK All in
Khaled Aljoma: 54

Tran's overpair of kings was ahead but he would need to fade the flush draw of Aljoma. The turn zoomed Aljoma ahead but in the unexpected was as the 4 came off to give him trips. The river was the 9 to send Tran to the rail as a few players commented on how well Aljoma continued to run early in Day 1.
