Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Mousa Awad
Mousa Awad

Mousa Awad raised it up to 8,000 from early position with Herbert Reissnecker calling on the button, and Michael Back defending his big blind.

When it got to Awad on the 62J flop, he bet 8,000, and only Reissnecker called.

Awad slowed down and checked the 8 turn, allowing Reissnecker the chance to bet 13,000. After a brief pause, Awad called.

Check, check came after the Q river and Awad won the pot with 98 for a pair of eights.

Ufano's Trips Lose Out to Villani's Boat

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

There was about 140,000 in the pot by the turn, on a board showing 65Q9. Jorge Ufano checked from the big blind and Sandro Villani checked back from under the gun.

A board-pairing Q landed on the river, and after a lot of thinking, Ufano placed out a small bet of 18,000. Villani quickly called and Ufano showed trips with AQ. Villani had that beat with 66 for a boat, and he was given the pot.

Andrea Giacchino: J10 All in

Reissnecker Reveals a Set

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Dieter Pichler came in for a raise to 6,000 under the gun and only Herbert Reissnecker called on the button.

The dealer fanned out a flop of 264, and Pichler continued for 9,000. Reissnecker proceeded via a call.

A 10 on the turn didn't slow Pichler down as he fired a second barrel of 18,000. Reissnecker shoved for 43,000, and after a little tank, Pichler folded.

As Reissnecker was awarded the pot, he revealed he had the goods with 44 for a set.

Fabian Bartuschk

Gregory Luttke-Grech raised to 6,000 from early position before Stefan Eggenberger shoved for 45,000 from middle position. Fabian Bartuschk cold-called in the hijack and Johann Schamne shoved for 87,500 from the button. Bartuschk called with the chance to bust two players.

Stefan Eggenberger: 88 All in
Johann Schamne: AK All in
Fabian Bartuschk: JJ

Retzep Gets Rid of Huang

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Yuxi Huang got her stack of 90,500 into the middle preflop from the cutoff and Semih Retzep was trying to bust her from the big blind.

Yuxi Huang: 77 All in
Semih Retzep: QQ

The pair of queens for Retzep had Huang on the ropes, and she needed some help from the dealer to keep her Main Event journey going.

It wasn't to be for Huang as the board ran out A106K8 to keep Retzep's ladies in front, and Huang was out.

Fischer Finishes Di Giacomo Off

Level 10 : Blinds 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante
Gunnar Fischer
Gunnar Fischer

Claudio Di Giacomo was all-in preflop for his last 60,000 or so chips from the button, with Gunnar Fischer trying to send him to the rail out of the cutoff.

Claudio Di Giacomo: KJ All in
Gunnar Fischer: AA

Di Giacomo was the one at risk this time and needed a miracle to crack Fischer's aces.

Di Giacomo wasn't aided by the 8108 flop and was drawing dead after the 4 hit the turn. Di Giacomo was already headed for the exit as the irrelevant 4 completed the board.
