Benjamin Hammann raised to 500,000 under the gun before Flynn Meichtry three-bet to 1,200,000 from the cutoff. When it got back to Hammann, he elected to call.

Hammann decided to lead out for 450,000 on the A♥7♠6♣ flop. Meichtry continued in the form of a call.

A J♣ on the turn saw Hammann lead out for a second time, choosing the amount of 850,000. Meichtry jammed for 2,200,000, and Hammann snap-called.

Florian Geiger raised to 500,000 on the button with Q♠10♦ and Neculai Macovei defended J♠7♠ in the big blind.

Macovei started out with a check after the dealer spread the 7♥10♠J♣ flop, and Geiger continued with a 325,000 bet. Macovei check-raised to 825,000, and Geiger opted to call.

A 9♠ came on the turn, and Macovei slid out 500,000 into the middle. Geiger called.

The 3♠ rolled off on the river, and Macovei chose to bet the amount of 2,700,000.

The bet was for almost all of Geiger's chips. After some tanking, Geiger folded to Macovei again.

Check, check followed the 8♥9♦Q♠ flop to see the A♣ arrive on the turn. Geiger checked for a second time, and Macovei bet 700,000. Geiger went for the most aggressive option available to him, check-raising to 1,700,000.

Macovei mulled it over briefly, then three-bet ripped it for 3,700,000. The jam sent Geiger deep into the tank, and after thinking about it for a while, he elected to fold.

When it folded to Neculai Macovei in the small blind, he jammed for 2,000,000 and got snapped off by Benjamin Hammann in the big blind.

Hammann had been on a tear so far at this final table, and would see his stack grow to over half the chips in play if he were to win this pot.

Hammann took the lead with two pair on the 3♥10♥K♠ flop, while Macovei had a gutshot.

Macovei added some additional outs on the J♣ turn, although Hammann was still out front.

A Q♥ on the river gave Macovei Broadway, and he earned the crucial double-up at the expense of Hammann.

Benjamin Hammann came back from the break and won the first three hands without seeing a flop.

First, he opened to 500,000 on the button with 10♠10♣ and took down the blinds.

Then he raised the same amount with Q♥9♣ in the cutoff and picked up the pot.

After that, he looked down at A♣J♦ and raised to 650,000 under the gun, which was enough to earn him the third pot in a row.

Geiger Holds On With a Small Pair

Geiger checked for a second time, which prompted Arossi to fire for 850,000. Geiger wasn't going anywhere as he put in the call.

An 8♥ rolled off on the river, prompting a final check from Geiger. Arossi took some time and eventually checked behind with A♣5♦ for ace-high.

Geiger showed 5♠5♥ for the winner with a pair of fives, and he won the last pot before the break.
