Players are going on a 15-minute break. At the conclusion of this break, late registration will close for Day 1b of the Main Event.
Lucian Tofan made it 8,000 from middle position before Daniele Lunario three-bet to 32,000 out of the hijack. Tofan four-bet ripped it, and Lunario called for his stack of 70,000.
Daniele Lunario: A♦J♦
Lucian Tofan: A♣Q♠
Tofan had Lunario crushed preflop, but the 2♦3♦4♦ flop gave Lunario a flush, leaving Tofan needing perfect running cards to chop the pot.
A 10♦ on the turn secured the double-up for Lunario, as the 8♠ to complete the board was just a necessisty.
Michael Allgauer came in for a raise to 8,000 from the hijack before Jan Zupec three-bet to 20,500 from the button. Allgauer called and the dealer fanned out the J♥3♠7♥ flop.
Allgauer knuckled it over to Zupec and Zupec chose to bet 16,500. Allgauer check-jammed, covering Zupec, and Zupec snap-folded.
With 20,000 in the pot, Chandru Alt fired out a bet of 7,000 from the big blind on the flop of 6♠5♦4♥, and Lorenzo Arduini called from the button.
A 10♦ on the turn caused Alt to check. Arduini bet 22,000, which Alot called.
Alt and Arduini checked the 5♣ river, and Alt tabled 4♦2♦ for a pair of fours. Arduini had that beat with 7♣7♠ for a pair of sevens, and he was awarded the pot.

Gerald Karlic made it 6,000 from middle position and Sascha Messmer defended from the big blind.
Messmer check-called a bet of 4,000 from Karlic on the A♠Q♦5♦ flop.
A 7♠ arrived on the turn and Messmer check-called a second bet from Karlic, this time for 11,000.
The 4♠ on the river checked through and Messmer took down the pot with A♦9♦ for a pair of aces.
Patrick Kneringer opened it up to 6,500 in the hijack with Marek Tatar calling on the button and Alain Ferrari defending his big blind.
Once Ferrari checked the 2♣7♠K♥ flop, Kneringer placed out a continuation-bet of 5,500. Tatar called, while Ferrari folded.
A 10♣ landed on the turn and both players checked for a Q♦ to complete the board. Another two checks followed and Kneringer's A♦Q♥ for a rivered pair of queens took down the pot.
Weiran Pu raised to 6,000 from early position before Raphael Groicher three-bet to 16,000 in middle position. Benat Inarra four-bet jammed for 38,000 from the blinds and only Groicher called.
Benat Inarra: A♣8♣
Raphael Groicher: A♥K♣
Inarra needed to come from behind to best the big slick of Groicher.
However, he found no assistance on the 7♣4♥3♦4♣10♠ runout, and all of his chips were absorbed into Groicher's stack.
