All three checked through the 106J flop and the Q dropped on the turn. Gehrmann led out for 1,500, and only Kim stuck around with a call.

Gehrmann fired 6,500 once the 6 rolled off on the river. Kim folded and surrendered the pot to Gehrmann.

There was a raise to 1,300 from Anagnostis Kouklas out of the hijack with Enes Avdagic being the only caller from the button.

Kouklas continued for 2,200 upon seeing the 687 flop. Avdagic made the call.

A bet of 2,000 came from Kouklas on the 9 turn. This time, Avdagic raised to 7,000, and Kouklas called.

The J completed the board, resulting in a check from Kouklas. Avdagic bet 15,000, and Kouklas went into the tank. After getting the clock called him and thinking for around two minutes, Kouklas tossed in the call.

Avdagic showed a straight with K10 to take down the pot, as Kouklas slammed his fist down on the table and tabled JJ for a set on the river.

Abecassis Loses Some to Top Set

Kevin Abecassis raised to 500 from middle position before Oliver Rubin, in the small blind, three-bet to 1,500. Abecassis called and both players saw the 5Q7 flop, which checked through.

Rubin placed out a delayed continuation-bet of 1,000 on the A turn. Abecassis called.

A 4 on the river saw Rubin fire for 3,000, resulting in a quick fold by Abecassis.

Rubin revealed AA for a set of aces as the pot was sent over to him.

Jan Zupec came in for a raise under the gun before Benat Inarra three-bet the button to 1,200. Zupec called to see the dealer fan out the 6Q5 flop.

Zupec started with a check and then faced a 700 bet from Inarra. Zupec continued in the form of a call.

The 10 fell on the turn and Zupec check-called a second barrel from Inarra, this time for 2,000.

An A completed the board and Zupec checked for the last time. Inarra tossed out a bet of 4,000, resulting in a snap-fold from Zupec.

Day 1b of the CHF1,500 Main Event Kicks Off at Noon

The CHF1,500 Main Event at the 2026 WSOP Circuit Liechtenstein continues today with Day 1b, the second of five starting flights, which gets underway at 12 p.m. Boasting a CHF1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool, players will once again take their seats inside the Grand Casino Liechtenstein with 50,000 starting chips as they look to run up a stack and secure a spot in Day 2.

Day 1a attracted 109 entries, with 17 players bagging up their chips after 14 levels of play. Austria’s Samuel Klocker ended with 796,000 chips to hold the chip lead, followed by fellow Austrian Martin Hoertnagl on 627,000. Florian Gehbauer and Angelo Arossi rounded out the podium positions with 504,000 each.

Day 1b will follow the same structure as the opening flight, featuring 40-minute blind levels and late registration open through the end of Level 12, with players able to reenter as many times as they wish. The field will once again play down to roughly 15 percent, all of whom will bag up their chips and return for Day 2 already in the money.

Players who miss the daytime flight will have another opportunity later in the evening, as Day 1c, a turbo flight, gets underway at 8 p.m. with a faster-paced 20-minute blind structure.

The survivors from all five starting flights will combine for Day 2 on Sunday, March 8, where the official prize pool and payouts will be confirmed and the chase for a WSOP Circuit ring will continue.
