Chandru Alt came in for a raise to 5,000 from the hijack before David Wintersberger three-bet to 11,000 out of the cutoff. Andrea Roner four-bet to 30,000, which got Alt to fold. Wintersberger five-bet jammed, and Roner called for his stack of about 100,000.
Andrea Roner: K♦K♣
David Wintersberger: A♦A♣
It was poker's classic preflop cooler of kings versus aces, with Roner being on the wrong side of it.
Both players improved to full houses on the 3♦7♣3♠9♣3♥ runout, but it was Wintersberger's treys full of aces that won the pot, and sent Roner to the rail.

Heads-up to the 5♥10♦10♥ flop, where Daniele Lunario checked from the big blind and Sandro Carucci bet 4,000 from the hijack. Lunario called.
A 9♦ rolled out on the turn and Lunario check-called a second bet from Carucci, this time for 12,000.
A final check came from Lunario on the 10♠ river, and Carucci fired for 25,000. Lunario quickly called, but then mucked after seeing the Q♥9♥ of Carucci for a full house.

Marco Meisser raised to 4,000 from the hijack, and Cosmin Nica called in the small blind. Oskar Bonifacio squeezed all in for 35,500 in the big blind, and Meisser made the call to try and bust him.
Oskar Bonifacio: K♠K♦
Marco Meisser: 10♥10♠
With the bigger pocket pair, Bonifacio looked poised to double up over the starting stack if he faded a ten on the runout.
The dealer delivered a low clean board of 6♦6♠5♦8♠8♣ for Bonifacio's cowboys, and he doubled through Meisser.

From the hijack, Marcel Maurer raised it up to 4,000 before Lucian Tofan three-bet to 12,500 in the cutoff. Maurer called when the action got back to him and the dealer fanned out the Q♦K♦4♠ flop.
Maurer knuckled the action over to Tofan, and Tofan fired a continuation-bet of 7,000. Maurer quickly check-raised to 19,000 with about 40,000 behind.
Tofan three-bet jammed, covering Maurer, and Maurer didn't take long to release his cards.

Lowell Kim's stack of 25,200 got into the middle preflop with Michael Gehrmann being the player trying to win them and send Kim home.
Lowell Kim: J♠J♣
Michael Gehrmann: A♣A♦
Kim had run into the preflop nuts of Gehrmann and needed the dealer's help to double up.
Kim picked up a straight draw on the 10♦7♥8♦ flop, but remained unimproved through the 4♣ turn and A♥ river. Gehrmann stacked up some more chips, and Kim ventured toward the exit.
