Faustino chose to fire a bet of around 3,500 on the 8104 flop. Manfredi called.

A J on the turn checked through for the A to complete the board. Faustino bet 10,400, prompting Manfredi to fold his cards.

Kanaan Sends Chiriliuc to the Showers

Level 8 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Faris Kanaan
Faris Kanaan

With 28,000 in the pot, Faris Kanaan fired out for 9,000 from the small blind on the KA5 flop. Andrei Chiriliuc called from the cutoff.

A 3 landed on the turn, and Kanaan placed out a second barrel of 35,000. Again, Chiriliuc called.

Kanaan put Chiriliuc all in for his last 50,000 when the 10 arrived on the river. Chiriliuc went deep into the tank, mulling over whether to call for his tournament life or not. In the end, Chiriliuc slammed in the call.

Kannan turned over aces up with A5, which was good to win the pot and bust Chiriliuc, who showed AQ for one pair.

Hiltebrand Helps Mijic Quadruple Up With Queen-High

Level 7 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Fabian Hiltebrand
Fabian Hiltebrand

With Dalibor Mijic all-in for a few thousand chips preflop, the dealer fanned out the 256 flop.

A side pot of 11,000 was still on offer between the other three players in the hand. Johann Schamne checked first from the small blind, Fabian Hiltebrand followed with a check in the big blind, and Yannick Gautschi knuckled it back on the button.

An 8 fell on the turn, prompting a second check from Schamne. Hiltebrand bet 7,000, and only Schamne called.

Mijic was already out of his seat and putting away his belongings as the J came to complete the board. Schamne checked, and Hiltebrand jammed for about 30,000, resulting in an instant fold from Schamne.

Mijic flipped over Q4 for queen-high and began to walk toward the exit; however, to everyone's surprise Hiltebrand tabled 109 for a busted straight draw and just ten-high.

Hiltebrand won the side pot thanks to his bluff, and Mijic quadrupled up with queen-high.

Dirlewanger Squeezes Value Out of Farkas

Level 7 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Zita Farkas raised to 2,800 from middle positon and only Leandro Dirlewanger called on the button.

Farkas made a continuation-bet of 3,500 on the 8J9 flop, and Dirlewanger called.

A 2 rolled out on the turn, prompting Farkas to bet again, this time for 7,200. Again, Dirlewanger just called.

The Q arrived on the river and Faraks checked. Dirlewanger bet 5,500, which Farkas reluctantly called.

Dirlewanger turned over QJ for two pair, and he earned the pot as Farkas mucked.

Miracle For Muehlebach

Level 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Mathias Muehlebach
Mathias Muehlebach

Mathias Muehlebach limped under the gun before Adrian Liechti raised to 3,000 in the hijack. Komil Khamidov called on the button, but the player in the small blind three-bet to 10,000. Muehlebach and Liechti called.

The small blind bet 10,000 upon seeing the 3410 flop, and was immediately called by Muehlebach. Liechti folded.

When the 3 hit the turn, the small blind jammed for about 25,000. Muehlebach snap-called and the cards were tabled.

Small Blind: AA All in
Mathias Muehlebach: 88

Muehlebach was in bad shape with pocket eights against the aces of his opponent, and only a date with an eight would win him the pot.

The dealer burned a card, then put out the 8 on the river to give Muehlebach exactly what he needed, sending the small blind player to the rail.

Yuekselen checked again when he saw the J turn, and after a few moments, D'Angelo bet 11,800. Yuekselen checked-raised to 25,000, which resulted in D'Angelo folding his cards.
