Brutal Flops Ends Wildberger's Day

From the button, George-Valentin Otomega raised to 25,000. Micha Wildberger committed his stack of 274,000 into the middle from the small blind, and after giving it some thought, Otomega called.

Wildberger found a great spot to double to over half a million, if he could avoid an ace.

The dealer spread out a brutal flop of J♥4♦J♦ for Wildberger, as Otomega took a commanding lead in the hand with trips.

Wildberger found no help on the 10♠ turn or 5♥ river, and he made his way to the cashier's desk.

Brechot Applies Pressure to Molinod

Guillaume Molinod raised to 25,000 under the gun with Daniele Lunario calling in middle position, Pascal Brechot calling on the button, and Marcel Maubach making the call out of the small blind.

The dealer spread the Q♠7♥3♠ flop, and after Maubach checked, Molinod fired for 35,000. Lunario folded before Brechot raised to 95,000. Maubach folded and Molinod called.

An 8♠ on the turn caused both players to check and the J♣ hit the river. One final check came from Molinod and Brechot tossed out a bet of 140,000. Molinod tank-folded and relinquished the pot to Brechot.

Nuri Acar made it 25,000 from the cutoff before Faris Kanaan three-bet to 85,000 from the button. Acar four-bet jammed for 140,000, and Kanaan made the call.

Kanaan was ahead and just had to avoid Acar connecting with the runout to add some chips to his stack.

Acar moved in front on the 6♣Q♣2♦ flop with top pair. The remainder of the board came 2♠7♦, and Acar secured the much-needed double-up.

When it folded to Thomas Ellenbroek in the small blind, he shoved for 105,000 and got looked up by Pablo Iparraguirre out of the big blind.

With ace-high, Ellenbroek's ace-high was slightly ahead, but Iparraguirre took the lead on the J♣8♥2♣ flop by pairing his jack.

A Q♠ on the turn propelled Iparraguirre into the lead with a higher pair, and earned the much-needed double-up once the Q♥ completed the board.

Chorianopoulos Steals the Pot From Aladzjan

Three ways to the 7♣K♣Q♠ flop with roughly 100,000 in the pot.

Karlen Aladzjan started with a check from the small blind and Claudio Di Giacomo checked the big blind. Ioannis Chorianopoulos fired out for 38,000 from under the gun and was met by a check-raise to 100,000 from Aladzjan. Di Giacomo folded, but Chorianopoulos continued in the form of a call.

An A♦ rolled out on the turn, prompting Aladzjan to check with around 250,000 in his stack. Chorianopoulos didn't think for long before he announced all in, covering Aladzjan.

Aladzjan gave it some thought before eventually choosing to fold and surrender the pot to Chorianopoulos.

From early position, Kevin Abecassis jammed for 127,000, and Daniele Lunario made the call from the big blind to try and bust him.

Abecassis was in great shape with big slick against king-jack off. However, Lunario took the lead by pairing his jack on the J♦3♠2♥ flop.

Abecassis picked up a gutshot on the Q♠ turn, but the 5♦ was a blank, and Abecassis wished the players good luck as he ventured over to the exit.
