Macovei check-called Allgauer's continuation-bet of 75,000 on the 829 flop.

Check, check came after the 8 turn, and the same again when the Q completed the board.

Macovei showed J9 for a pair of nines, but was out-kicked by the K9 of Allgauer.

Meichtry's Aces-Up End Rank's Event

Arriving at the table to see Axel Rank in the tank on a completed board of 7103A9.

Rank had checked from the big blind and Flynn Meichtry had put him all in for his last 300,000 from middle position. After getting the clock called on him, Rank put in the call.

Meichtry showed aces-up with A7, and this was enough to send Rank to the rail as he turned over QQ for a pair of queens.

Otomega made a bet of 80,000, and was quickly raised to 250,000 by Arossi. Otomega called.

A check came from Otomega on the 4 turn, and Arossi jammed. The shove was for Otomega's remaining 400,000, and after thinking for a while, Otomega slammed in the call.

Arossi was ahead with a set of treys, but Otomega could hit a diamond on the river to win the pot and double up.

The dealer burned a card and then put out the 6 to complete the board. Otomega was out, and Arossi's stack climbed to over two million.

Wintersberger Soul Reads Brechot With Queen-High Call

Brechot check-called a bet of 50,000 from Wintersberger on the 74J flop.

Check, check came after the 7 turn to see the J complete the board. Brechot made a bet of 90,000, and Wintersberger deliberated briefly before making the call.

Brechot revealed 64 for a coutnerfeited bottom bottom pair, which meant he had two pair with a six-kicker.

Wintersberger had that beat with Q8 for the same two pair but with a queen-kicker.

Hammann's Aggression Gets Retzep Out

Benjamin Hammann raised to 40,000 from early position with Semih Retzep calling in the small blind, and Karlen Aladzjan defending his big blind.

When it got to Hammann on the K4Q flop, he bet 45,000, which only Retzep called.

Retzep check-called another bet from Hammann on the 6 turn, this time for 160,000.

Upon seeing the 8 river, Retzep chose to lead out for 250,000 with around 780,000 behind. Hammann paused for a moment, then jammed, putting Retzep to the test for his remaining chips.

Retzep sank back in his chair and mulled it over for almost two minutes. In the end, he folded, and Hammann added even more chips to his stack.
