A new day has come to the Estonian capital of Tallinn, and with it more chances to reach Day 2 of the WSOP Circuit Tallinn €1,500 Main Event. Day 1b, the second of five starting flights, will kick off at noon local time at the Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel & Olympic Park Casino, while Day 1c is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. Both flights will play down to 15 percent of their fields, ensuring all players who make Day 2 will be in the money.
Today's survivors will join the 18 players who have already progressed through Day 1a for Day 2. They were the last ones standing of a field of 120 entries, making the first serious dent into the eye-watering €1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. Finland's Tommi Savioja captured the chip lead, increasing the starting stack of 50,000 to 680,000 over 14 hours of play. Ladies Event champion Vilde Ekren and Estonian local Andre Magi also secured a spot in the top ten stacks so far.

Day 1b and Day 1c both follow the same blind structure, with Day 1b playing 40-minute levels and Day 1c playing slightly shorter 30-minute levels. Both flights will start players off with 50,000 in chips, and the first level is 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante. Late registration will remain open for 12 levels in both flights, ending in 2,000/4,000 (4,000), with unlimited reentries available during that period. PokerNews will report on Day 1b live, while Day 1c's chip counts will be posted at a later point in time.
Day 1b will have short breaks after every three levels, and a 60-minute dinner break is set after Level 9, around 6:30 p.m. local time. The day will end when the last 15 percent of the field has been reached, which is expected to happen some time past midnight. All players who survive the day qualify for Day 2 on Friday, July 31, while the ones unable to make it to the end of the day will have two more starting flights to try their luck on July 30.
