Jens Steuber Eliminated in 4th Place (€69,234)

Level 33 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante
Jens Steuber
Jens Steuber

Andrew King raised to 350,000 with the {A-Spades}{J-Spades} and Mateusz Dziewonski three-bet to 900,000 from one seat over. The action folded to Jens Steuber in the big blind and he moved all in to quickly scare off King, Dziewonski called.

Steuber: {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}
Dziewonski: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}

The {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop gave Steuber more outs with the flush draw, but the {5-Clubs} on the turn and the {4-Diamonds} river both blanked out to send the last German-speaking hope to the rail in 4th place.

Stefan Raschbauer Eliminated in 5th Place (€52,291)

Level 33 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante
Stefan Raschbauer
Stefan Raschbauer

Short stack Stefan Raschbauer got his stack of 1,345,000 into the middle of the table and Mateusz Dziewonski looked him up with the superior stack.

Raschbauer: {4-Hearts}{4-Spades}
Dziewonski: {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}

The flop came {6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{J-Hearts} and the Pole immediately improved. Neither the {2-Clubs} turn nor the {6-Hearts} river helped Raschbauer anymore and he headed to the rail in 5th place for a payday of €52,291.

More Action from Hansen

Level 33 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Andrew King three-bet to 625,000 and Johnny Hansen pulled the trigger, making a four-bet to 1,500,000 with the {A-Spades}{6-Diamonds}. King eventually folded the {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} and Hansen stole the blinds soon after with {10-Clubs}{7-Spades} as well.

Raschbauer Folds to Shove

Level 32 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Stefan Raschbauer opened to 250,000 with the {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and then folded to the shove of Mateusz Dziewonski, who held the dominating {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. Raschbauer is getting shorter once again, making a double up necessary in the not so distant future.

Hansen Drops Some

Level 32 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Johnny Hansen raised to 250,000 with the {K-Clubs}{9-Spades} and was called by Andrew King in the big blind, holding the {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Both players checked the flop {8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and the {9-Diamonds} on the turn saw a check of King and a bet of Hansen for 250,000. King called and they checked down the {A-Clubs} river to award the pot to the Irishman.

Big Pot for Dziewonski With Pocket Tens

Level 32 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante
Mateusz Dziewonski
Mateusz Dziewonski

The action folded to the cut-off when Mateusz Dziewonski opened up for 250,000 with {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}. Stefan Raschbauer called with {k-Hearts}{q-Spades} from the small blind as did Jens Steuber with {5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} from the big blind.

All three players checked the {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop, which gave Raschbauer a nut-flush draw. The {5-Diamonds} came on the turn, and Dziewonski bet 415,000 when the action was checked to him. Raschbauer called, and Steuber decided to cut his losses and folded.

The {7-Clubs} came on the river. Raschbauer checked, which led to Dziewonski bet 780,000 on thin value. Raschbauer tanked for several minutes, leading Paul Zimbler and others watching on Twitch to speculate whether he was deciding to raise to steal the pot or fold. Both suggestions were wrong, as Raschbauer decided to make a hero call, thinking he was ahead even after missing the flush and not pairing his hand, giving a big pot over to his Polish opponent.

Hansen Folds Set

Level 32 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Andrew King raised to 250,000 with the {A-Clubs}{J-Spades} and Johnny Hansen just flat-called out of the small blind with the {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}. On the flop {J-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{6-Clubs}, Hansen fired 350,000 and King just called before the {4-Clubs} came on the turn. Hansen bet again for 575,000 and King's raise to 1.7 million was not called.

Ace King No Good

Level 32 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Mateusz Dziewonski opened to 250,000 with {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades} and then folded to the three-bet of Stefan Raschbauer, who had clicked to 600,000 with the {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}.

Shortly after, Johnny Hansen raised to 250,000 from the hijack with {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts} and Andrew King defended the big blind with {K-Spades}{6-Clubs}. On the flop {3-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{8-Spades} both players checked and King fired the {J-Spades} turn for 300,000. Hansen called and the {3-Diamonds} river was checked again to give the pot to King.

Hansen got some chips back by raising the {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades} and Dziewonski defended the big blind with {Q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}. The Pole quickly check-folded a flop of {A-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} to a continuation bet worth 225,000, though.
