Chaitas Eliminated by El Hani

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

The flop of {8-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs} saw the stack of Ioannis Chaitas go into the middle with the {k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}. Abdelmajid El Hani had that crushed with {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} for bottom set and the {6-Spades} turn sealed the fate of Chaitas, making the {k-Hearts} river a formality.

Cure Forces Out Matthias

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Heads-up to the {j-Spades}{10-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs} turn, Uwe Matthias faced the big stack shove of Clement Cure with around 45,000 behind. He eventually sigh-folded and first showed the {j-Hearts} followed by the {k-Diamonds}.

Cure returned the favor and exposed his {a-Spades}{k-Spades} for the gutshot and nut flush draw before collecting the pot.

Lemmens Rises to the Top

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Kevin Lemmens collected the stack of Armando D'Avanzo in a preflop all-in when the Italian was at risk for 30,000.

Armando D'Avanzo: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Kevin Lemmens: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The board ran out {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and that spelled the end for D'Avanzo.

Shortly after, Jan-Peter Jachtmann clashed with Lemmens in a raising war on the {6-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs}{8-Spades} turn. Jachtmann had the {k-Spades}{q-Spades} but was drawing dead, as lemmens held {a-Spades}{j-Spades} for the nut flush.

The meaningless {4-Hearts} river ended Jachtmann's tournament for now.

Cohen Binks the River in Four-Way All-In

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante
Yehuda Cohen
Yehuda Cohen

On a four-way turn of {5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{6-Hearts}, Radek Mlcak was at risk for 24,200 and Wolfgang Simperl called that. Yehuda Cohen also came along and Benjamin Sebastian Tob Hafidh then moved all-in for 71,800. Simperl got the biggest stack in and Cohen was in the tank. A crowd gathered and Cohen then called it off to set up a four-way all-in.

Radek Mlcak: {8-Spades}{4-Clubs}
Yehuda Cohen: {2-Spades}{2-Hearts}
Benjamin Sebastian Tob Hafidh: {7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}
Wolfgang Simperl: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

Cohen asked for a trey and got just that with the {3-Hearts}. Only Mlcak busted but Tob Hafidh and Simperl saw their stacks hurt severely in the process.

Belkacem Gives Up to a Big Shove

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

With just around 30,000 in the middle and the turn reading {10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{k-Hearts}, Sammy Belkacem checked and Hai Ngoc Bui shipped it in for 91,300. That covered Belkacem and he tanked for more than two minutes before folding.

Lee Takes From Wysocki

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Just before the blinds had gone up, Szymon Wysocki in the cutoff checked his option on the {8-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop. Min Sung Lee bet 5,000 and earned a call. On the {2-Hearts} turn, Wysocki check-called another 13,500 and both players then checked the {k-Diamonds} on the river.

Wysocki tabled the {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} but Lee had that beat with {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}.

Terrier Scores Another Knockout

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

On a completed board of {q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}, the remaining chips of Ali Rachedi went in as he called for what was left over. Yves Terrier had bet more and tabled the {4-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for a flush.

Rachedi shook his head and was ready to leave without exposing his cards. He was obliged to and revealed {q-Spades}{8-Spades} before walking out of the tournament area.
