Aaron Lerner Eliminated

The flop was {J-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, pairing Lerner's jack. The turn was the {2-Clubs} and Lerner kept his lead, but the {K-Hearts} spiked on the river and Lerner was eliminated.

Spidey Takes Out Eddie Z

The UTG player raises to 34,000, Eddie Zakaria moves all in for less than the amount of the raise, Partho "Spiderman" Data raises to 100,000 from the button, and the UTG player folds. Zakaria was feeling good with his A-A up against Spiderman's J-J; that is, until the board came {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}, giving Spiderman a runner-runner straight to eliminate Zakaria.

John Murphy Closes in on 500K

John Murphy raised to 35,000, Darren Black moved all in from the big blind, and Murphy called. Murphy turned over the {K-Hearts}{10-Spades} while Black tabled the {J-Spades}{9-Spades}. The flop was the {Q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}, pairing Murphy's ten but giving Black an open-ended straight draw. The turn was the {10-Spades} giving Murphy trips, and the river was the {K-Hearts} making him a full house. Black was eliminated and Murphy is up to 486,000.

Hunter Frey Crippled, Then Gets a Lucky Double Up

Hunter Frey moved all in from UTG and Tony Safio called from the big blind. Safio held Q-Q and was racing with Frey's A-K. The board came J-7-8-6-9 and Safio's queens held to knock Frey down to 45,000.

A few hands later, Frey moved all in from the button for 39,000 and Frank Debus called. Frey's K-Q was dominated by Debus' A-K . . . that is, until Frey flopped a straight when the flop came down J-T-9. No help for Debus on the turn or the river, and Frey doubled to 100K.
