Derek Lerner Doubles Up

From the small blind, Derek Lerner moved all in pre-flop and the big blind called. Lerner showed A-K, dominating the big blind's A-7. Neither player's hand improved and Lerner dragged the pot.

Lerner has been having a yo-yo sort of day, winning and losing several large pots. His chip stack is back to where he started the day, around 60K.

John Gale Eliminated

John Gale raised to 10,000 from early position and a middle position player called. The flop was the {9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. Gale checked, the MP player bet 11,500, Gale moved all in and the MP player called. Gale turned over A-T and was nearly drawing dead vs. his opponent's set of nines. The turn and the river were both eights and "Gentleman" John was eliminated.
