Running Late Pays off for Williamson

Shortly after he returned to his table, Robert Williamson found himself in a big hand against the big blind. On a board reading {5-Clubs} {K-Clubs} {9-Clubs}, the big blind, who had Robert covered, pushed all-in. Robert went into the tank and eventually called, turning over {A-Spades} {K-Hearts} for top pair, top kicker. His opponent held {9-Hearts} {7-Hearts}, and the {K-Diamonds} on the turn sealed the deal for Williamson. He now has just over 10,000 in chips.

Turner Gets Lucky

For the third straight round, the player on the button moves all in for 8000.

Jon Turner is on the big blind and goes into the tank for several minutes before finally making the call with {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}.

The button has a hand this time {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs} and has Turner dominated, but then Turner catches a running flush draw to take down the 17,000 pot.

Whoops!

Robert Williamson
Robert Williamson
Robert Williamson III was just seen sprinting through the poker room trying to get back to his seat after the break. He may have run track in high school, because the man was flying!
