Final Ten-Handed Table About to Resume Play

It's taken a while to get the players seated at the final table, color up some of the yellow (1,000) chips, and have the players sign release forms and fill out bios for tomorrow's final table.

It's not known yet whether or not this table will be broadcast over the web in the Bluff Sequestarium. Bluff may not make that decision until tomorrow.

Official Chip Counts & Seating Positions

Here are the official chip counts for the final ten players:

1. Devin Porter - 881,000
2. John Phan - 567,000
3. Humberto Brenes - 405,000
4. Alex Bolotin - 161,000
5. Matt Gilsdorf - 511,000
6. Marcus Obser - 370,000
7. Bertrand 'ElkY' Grospellier - 433,000
8. [Removed:326] - 684,000
9. Francois Safieddine - 290,000
10. Lars Bonding - 654,000

Lars Bonding vs. Bertrand 'ElkY' Grospellier

Simultaneously with Matusow's bustout, but at the other table --

Bertrand Grospellier raises under the gun to 50,000, and Lars Bonding calls from the big blind. The flop comes {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}, and both players check. The turn card is the {K-Clubs}, and they check again. The river card is the {9-Spades}, Bonding bets 100,000, and Grospellier calls. Bonding shows {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a ten-high straight, and Grospellier mucks. Bonding takes the pot.

Mike Matusow Eliminated in 11th Place ($21,435)

Mike Matusow raises from the button to 60,000, Devin Porter moves all in from the small blind, and Matusow calls with {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}. Porter shows {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}, and Matusow will need to improve to stay alive.

The board comes {6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, and Porter's kings hold up to win the pot. Mike Matusow is eliminated in 11th place, earning $21,435.

The final ten players redraw for seats at the final table, and play will continue until one more player is eliminated.

Mike Matusow Overheard

Media Coordinator Nolan Dalla: "We'll talk about it tomorrow, Mike."

Mike Matusow: "I might not get to tomorrow. And if I do get there, I'm not going in the box."

(The box refers to the sequestered final table area for the webcasts, surrounded by black curtains. Matusow is not a fan.)

Humberto Brenes Doubles Through Mike Matusow

Humberto Brenes moves all in from the small blind for 173,000, and Mike Matusow calls from the big blind with {J-Clubs}{J-Spades}. Brenes shows {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}, and it's a race situation. The flop comes {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{5-Clubs}, and Brenes starts singing to the queen, which gives him the lead with a higher pair. The last two cards are {6-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, and Brenes entertains the thick crowd of spectators as he collects the pot. Matusow just quietly seethes.
