Paul "Eskimo" Clark Doubles Up

Just before the dinner break, a player in the cutoff makes it 1,200 and Paul "Eskimo" Clark on the button and a player in the small blind call. The flop is {3-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and all check. The turn is {4-Hearts} and the small blind makes it 2,000. The cutoff calls. Eskimo raises all in for his last 7,000. The small blind re-raises for 9,675 more. The cutoff folds after a long time in the tank and the small blind takes some back. Eskimo shows {Q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for the flush and the small blind has {A-Spades}{2-Spades} for the straight. The river is {8-Spades} and Eskimo doubles up to 22,000.

Brandon Adams Is Eliminated

With only 3,300 left Brandon Adams moved all-in with {A-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} and was called by the player two to his right. And then Stephen Landrum came over the top for an additional 16,000, which usually isn't a good sign. It wasn't on this occasion either, as Landrum turned over {J-Hearts} {J-Clubs}. The flop was a good one for Adams-- {5-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds}-- but he didn't hit a diamond or an ace the rest of the way and was eliminated. Landrum's stack now stands at 25,000.
