Eskimo Clark Hits 20K

A middle-position player limped for 300, the button limped, Eskimo Clark completed the small blind and the big blind checked. The flop was {7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and all players checked. The turn was the {6-Clubs}. Clark checked, the BB checked, the middle-position player bet 1100, the button called, Clark called and the BB folded. The river was the {2-Clubs}. Clark bet 3500 and both his opponents folded.

Clark was up to 20,000 after the hand.

After Double-Checking, Annie Duke Is Eliminated

After flopping an open-ended straight draw Annie Duke moved all-in and was called by a player holding top pair, top kicker. Annie made her straight on the turn...but her opponent completed his runner-runner flush on the river. But because of some confusion over the cards it took a few moments to figure out that, yes indeed, the other player had made a flush and eliminated Duke.

Thomas Wahlroos Will Have to Wait Before He Takes a Dip

Under the gun, Thomas Wahlroos raised to 900 and called when the big blind re-raised to 2500. The flop came {J-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} and the big blind bet 3700.

"I'm going home, it's still nice at the pool," Wahlroos said just before he moved all-in. The big blind only had an additional 1650 to call and turned over A-K, while Wahlroos held A-Q. His hand held up and Wahlroos will have to play a bit longer before he goes for a swim. He now has a 16K stack.
