PokerNews caught up with Todd Brunson on first break of day 2 of the $50k HORSE event. Todd talked about his slow start to day two, as well as his thoughts on the HORSE event versus the Main Event.
Richie Sklar is one of the most colorful characters in today's HORSE event. He chopped an 8-handed satellite to win $25K or one-half of his entry fee. He quickly headed to the VIP Lounge where he won 12K in side bets in a few minutes. He challenged a few poker all-stars on the putting green and cleaned up. With 3/4 of his entry fee paid for, he bumped int o afriend in the hallway who agreed to put up the remaining 25%. Inside of an hour, Sklar collected enough money to buy into the $50K HORSE event.
If you know Richie Sklar, he's an upbeat and hilarious poker player. He's fun to watch from the rail and often tells the most amazing stories at the tables. He's a natural comedian.

With the board reading , Le showed a set of fours for the high. Cloutier was working with a flush as well as a low draw, but the on the river not only missed his flush, but counterfeited his low. Le scooped the pot and now sits on 70K in chips. Cloutier is down to 52K.
