Mike Wattel Has Been Eliminated in 25th Place

Action folded to Mike Wattel in the small blind who raised. Amnon Filippi made the call from the big blind. The flop came down {K-Spades}{5-Hearts}{K-Hearts}. Wattel bet and Filippi smooth-called. The turn came {Q-Diamonds}. Wattel bet again and Filippi made the call. The river brought the {3-Diamonds}. Wattel bet the last of his chips and Filippi pushed out the call. Wattel showed A-A-8-5, but Filippi's K-J-T-8 was best and Wattel was eliminated in 25th place.

Hellmuth Getting Frustrated

Phil Hellmuth, the proud owner of a record 11 gold bracelets in Hold'em events, was just overheard yelling to his wife: "Four hours of Hold'Em and I can't win a hand . . . they play so bad too . . . jack-eights and queen-fours . . . it's absurd."
