E-Fro Takes Down an Early Pot

Eric Froehlich called an early position player's preflop raise from the big blind and the two went heads-up to the flop.

The flop came {10-Spades}{6-Spades}{8-Clubs}; Eric checked, his opponent bet 50 and he made the call. The turn brought the {6-Clubs} and the action was much the same; check, bet, call.

The {7-Hearts} was the last card to fall off the deck and this time E-Fro bet 100 into his opponent, who made the call. Froehlich turned over {A-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} for a ten-high straight, and his opponent mucked his cards.

Eric now has 4,000 early in the tournament.
