Howard Lederer has built himself an 85,000 stack after pulling off a couple of all-in moves.
In the first hand, Tony G raised to 3,500 from middle position, John Juanda raised to 15,500 from the cutoff and Lederer moved all in for 38,300 from the big blind. Both Tony G and Juanda folded.
In the second hand, Tom Schneider made it 3,000 to go from the cutoff, Gavin Smith called from the button, Lederer raised to 15,000 from the big blind, and both Schneider and Smith folded.
Michael Binger raised to 3,500 from UTG and Jeffrey Lisandro called from middle position. Binger drew one and Lisandro stood pat. Binger bet 5,500 and Lisandro called. Binger showed T-6-4-3-2 but Lisandro had the better hand with 9-7-4-3-2.
Bob Stupak raised to 4,000 from UTG, Howard Lederer called from the button, and Tony G called from the big blind. Each player drew one. Tony G led for 3,000 after the draw, Stupak folded and Lederer called. Tony G showed 9-6-5-4-3 and Lederer mucked.
David Grey raised to 4,000 from the cutoff, Ted Forrest re-raised to 12,000, Grey moved all in for 36,000 and Forrest called. Grey drew on and Forrest rapped pat. Forrest tabled 9-7-6-3-2, while Grey showed a Q and mucked as he headed to the rail.
Barry Greenstein raised to 4,000 and Freddy Deeb called. Each player drew one. Greenstein bet 6,000 after the draw and Deeb called. Deeb showed 8-7-5-3-2 and Greenstein flashed a 9 as he mucked.
After the hand Greenstein was down to 21,000 and Deeb was up to 35,000.
Patrick White raised to 2,500 from middle position and Bob Stupak called from the button. White drew two and Stupak drew one. White checked, Stupak went all in for 17,500 and White showed a queen as he mucked his cards.
Stupak flashed a pair of fours as he dragged the pot.
Daniel Negreanu raised to 4,000 from the button, Minh Ly re-raised to 12,000 from the small blind and Negreanu called. Ly rapped pat and Negreanu drew one. After the draw Ly checked, Negreanu bet 20,000 and Ly called. Negreanu showed 2-3-4-5-8 and Ly mucked.
Minh Ly raised to 3,300 from early position and the button called. Each player drew one. Ly led for 9,000 after the draw and the button called. Ly turned over 2-3-4-5-7 and took the pot with the wheel.
Johnny Chan raised to 3,500, the cutoff re-raised to 11,000 and Chan called. Chan drew one and the cutoff stood pat. Both players checked post-draw. Chan showed J-8-4-3-2 and the cutoff mucked.
