Ray Henson
The members of Ray Henson's entourage supporting him here at the WSOP all will tell you what a good guy he is. Many of them are flying back and forth on a daily basis between Las Vegas and their hometown of Houston, Texas where they all work. Ray's mom is actually currently in the air right now, flying here to join the party of supporters for her son. This is the Big Dance and his friends and family know it.
Ray has played poker for a living these past few years and is making a name for himself at the 2007 Main Event, sitting high in the chip count at over 10,000,000. Ray recently won one of the "Deep Stack Extravaganza" events at the Venetian and is set to cash big at the WSOP. We wish him the best of luck.
Bill Edler
Edler moved all-in for his last 1.9 million in late position and Jerry Yang pondered the situation in the small blind before making the call. Yang's led Edler's . The flop didn't help Edler, and the turn brought the which locked up the hand for Yang.
As he walked away from the table Edler said, "I thought I had pocket Tens...just kidding." Yang is now up to 8 million.

At the Featured Table, Philip Hilm raises from the cutoff to 240,000, Billy Spadea calls from the button, and Ray Henson calls from the small blind. There are three players in the pot, already worth 880,000.
The flop comes , Henson bets 450,000, Hilm folds, Spadea raises to 1,000,000, Henson reraises to 2,000,000, and Spadea folds. Henson shows for two pair, eights and sixes, as he collects the pot worth 2.88 million.
Ryan Elson
Elson and Jon Kalmar checked a flop of , and when the hit on the turn Kalmar check-called a 200K bet from Elson. The fell on the river and when Elson checked, Kalmar bet 400,000.
Elson asked, "You hit that Ace?"
Kalmar replied, "You missed your flush?"
Elson announced he was all-in and Kalmar insta-called. Elson held for trip Eights but Kalmar had a straight with , and that was enough to knock out Elson.
Philip Hilm

Hilm shows for two pair, queens and jacks, and Slezak mucks. Philip Hilm wins the pot.
Raymond Rahme raised to 380,000 from the cutoff, Alex Kravchenko moved all in for 700,000 from the button, Bill Edler re-raised to 1.5 million from the big blind and Rahme folded. Edler turned up and found himself way behind Kravchenko's . The flop was , no help for Edler, and the on the turn sealed victory for Kravchenko. The river was the meaningless , and Kravchenko doubled up to 1.95 million.
