Dr. Roy Winston
Roy Winston, who was just eliminated from the Main Event, earned $333,490 for his finish. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, he currently resides in California and works as a plastic surgeon. Winston and his business partner Scott (who was here cheering him on today) have five offices, their flagship located in Palm Springs, where they specialize in hair removal, tattoo removal and Botox.
This was Winston's second year in the WSOP and by far his deepest finish.
At the Featured Table, Philip Hilm raises under the gun to 240,000, and Hevad 'Rain' Khan calls from the big blind. The flop comes , Khan checks, Hilm bets 350,000, and Khan folds. Philip Hilm takes the pot.
Scotty Nguyen raised to 220K from early position and Jon Kalmar re-raised to 600K from the cutoff. And then, from the big blind, Farry moved all-in for his last 2.8 million. Nguyen folded, Kalmar folded, and Farry scooped up a big pile of chips.
"If I knew you'd fold, I was calling," Scotty said to Kalmar.
"If you called, I was calling," Kalmar answered. And that's when Scotty said he folded pocket Queens.

Philip Hilm
Philip Hilm, currently seated on the ESPN Featured Table, is originally from Denmark and now lives in Cambridge, England. He has one WSOP cash, from a 2005 NLHE event, but has done very well for himself on the European Poker Tour, where he finished 4th in the 2006 Scandinavian Open in Copenhagen, and 15th in the 2007 EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo.
Hilm is part of a team of Danish poker players sponsored by 1623Poker.com, a "Fantastic Four" if you will, that includes Lars Bonding, Mads Andersen, and Christian Togsverd, who was eliminated from the Main Event earlier today in 33rd place.
Jerry Yang
In a limped pot Yang and Kravchenko checked the flop and the on the turn, but when the hit on the river Yang bet 200,000 and Kravchenko called. Yang turned over for the straight and Kravchenko mucked. That hand left him with just 700,000 while Yang now sits with 4.21 million.
Bob Slezak
