Mizzi's Castle

During the color-up, chipleader Sorel Mizzi bought up all the black and blue 100-denomination chips from his relatively deep-stacked table. Mizzi went to work constructing quite an elaborate chip edifice with the 100s before they were taken out of play.

Chu Takes Out Two

Immediately after eliminating Mark Herm in 46th place, Michael Chu took out new $5K Mixed Hold'em bracelet winner Steve "MrSmokey1" Billirakis. Billirakis moved all in on a flop of K-Q-3 holding K-J and Chu called with a set of threes. Billirakis did not improve and he hit the rail.

Chu was up to 260K after both hands.
