Harman Claims a Big Fold

On a board reading {6-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{A-Hearts}, Jennifer Harman bet 2,000. Coming strong off his elimination of Greg Mueller, Tony Licastro raised to 10,000.

Harman thought for awhile. After a couple minutes passed, Harman said, "I think I have the best hand."

Licastro responded, "Then you should raise."

"I'm definitely not raising," Harman said in response before folding her hand.

After Harman folded, Licastro showed the J-10 for a Broadway straight and asked Harman if she had a set. Harman said she had a set of queens and Licastro complimented her on a good fold with a table knock.

A Bad Flop Sends Allen Cunningham Out

Allen Cunningham
Allen Cunningham
Allen Cunningham, who won Pot-Limit World Championship last year, will not be a repeat winner. After exchanging a series of raises, Cunningham was all in with pocket queens against pocket nines. But the flop came {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and when Cunningham couldn't catch a queen on the turn or river, his tournament day came to an end.

Vanessa Rousso Doubles Up

Vanessa Rousso
Vanessa Rousso
On a flop of {K-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} Alexander Kostritsyn led out for 3,500 from middle position, Vanessa Rousso moved all in from the cutoff for about 12,000 and Kostritsyn made the call.

Kostritsyn: {A-Spades}{10-Spades}

Rousso: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}

The turn was the {2-Spades}, the river was the {7-Hearts} and Rousso doubled her short stack to 27,000. 2008 Aussie Millions champion Kostritsyn was still very healthy at 74,000.

Mueller is Eliminated

The board read 5-7-3 and Greg "FBT" Mueller bet out, only to get raised all in by his opponent. Mueller made the call, showing pocket fives, for a set of fives. His opponent showed 7-6.

The dealer tapped the table and then put a four on the turn, giving Mueller's opponent, Tony Licastro, a straight. In reaction, Mueller commented, "Are you serious?!?! At least wait until the river!"

Mueller still had outs going to the river, but missed when an ace fell, and he was eliminated.

Seidel Doubles

Erik Seidel raised under the gun to 2,100 and got a call from a late-position player. Both players took a flop and saw the dealer display the {9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{7-Hearts} on the felt.

Seidel wasted little time in betting the pot. The late-position player called.

The turn was the {10-Diamonds} and Seidel checked this time. His opponent announced that he would put Seidel all in and Seidel called.

Seidel showed 9-9 and his opponent showed 8-8. The river missed Seidel's opponent as the {A-Diamonds} was placed on the table, and Seidel doubled up to over 60,000 chips.
