Matt Graham Doubles through Chris Ferguson

After a 4-5-6 flop, Matt Graham and Chris Ferguson got all the chips in the middle, with Graham turning over {7-Spades}{8-Spades} for the flopped straight to crush Ferguson's pocket queens. Adding insult to injury, a meaningless queen fell on the river, much like what had happened to "Jesus" in a previous hand, when he rivered a straight, only to lose to his opponent's four-card flush. Graham has 155,000 while Ferguson has slipped to 76,000.

Eli Elezra Pulls off a Bluff

Was it good?
Was it good?
We picked this hand up on the turn, with the board reading {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{9-Spades}{J-Spades}. Eli Elezra fired 42,500 into the pot, sending his opponent, Mark Newhouse, into the tank. Newhouse ultimately elected to fold.

"This is the winner," said Elezra, as he flashed the {6-Diamonds}. "I did have another 6. Was it good?" he asked.

"Nice hand, Eli," was Newhouse's only reply.

After the hand, Elezra was up to 274,000 while Newhouse slipped to 180,000.

Ben Sprengers Doubles through Chris Ferguson

The two players got all the money in preflop, with Ferguson showing {A-Spades}{Q-Spades} and Sprengers {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}. The {10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{8-Clubs} flop didn't help Ferguson, but the {K-Clubs} gave him an inside straight draw with his overcard. That card also gave Sprengers a flush draw and when the {J-Clubs} fell on the river both players hit their hands, with Sprengers's flush taking down the pot. He's now at 56,000, while Ferguson fell to 112,000.

Jerri Thomas Doubles through Tommy Vinas

Tommy Vinas raised from the button to 9,500. The small blind, Jerri Thomas, moved all in for 17,500 total, and Vinas made the call.

Vinas showed {A-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Thomas showed {A-Spades}{8-Clubs}.

The flop paired both players, {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}, but Vinas' kicker was in the lead. The turn was the {4-Clubs} and then the river brought the {8-Hearts} to keep Thomas alive in the tournament.

Thomas has doubled back to 35,000, while Vinas dropped to 39,000.

Raphael Zimmerman Eliminates Mario Silvestri

From the cutoff Greg Hopkins raised to 9,000 and Mario Silvestri moved in for his last 18,000. Sitting in the small blind, Raphael Zimmerman reraised to 40,000 and that chased Hopkins out. Silvestri turned over {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} while Zimmerman held the {K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}. Zimmerman hit on the {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} flop, and when Silvestri failed to spike a seven on the turn and river he was eliminated.

Benyamine Doubles, Only to Bust

Benyamine=Busto
Benyamine=Busto
A middle-position player opened for 8,000, Joe Patrick reraised to 28,000 from the button, David Benyamine flat-called from the small blind and the MP player folded. The flop was {K-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}. Benyamine moved all in and Patrick made the call.

Benyamine {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}

Patick {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

The turn was the {K-Diamonds}, the river was the {7-Spades}, and Benyamine doubled up to 98,000.

Only a few hands later, Benyamine and Patrick tangled again, in a three-way preflop all-in with David Benefield, who had both of them covered.

Benyamine {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

Patrick {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

Benefield {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

The flop was {A-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}, but Benefield picked up a flush draw when the {J-Diamonds} fell on the turn.

"Don't do it!" implored Benyamine as the dealer burned and turned the river card... the {A-Diamonds}, which made Benefield's flush and eliminated Benyamine, as well as Patrick.

After the hand, Benefield was up to 260,000.
