Leo Wolpert Advances to Final Table

We have our first winner, over at Table #2.

After Christopher Howard's elimination, we were down to heads up between Leo Wolpert and Michael Gracz. Gracz limped in from the small blind/button, and Wolpert checked his option.

The flop came {A-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs}. Wolpert bet 5,500, and Gracz called. The turn was the {4-Diamonds}. This time Wolpert bet 13,500, and Gracz again called.

The river was the {8-Clubs}. Wolpert bet 43,000, Gracz reraised all in for 192,000 total, and Wolpert snap-called, showing {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for the full house. Gracz mucked, and we have the first of our six final table players.

E-Fro Busts Seidel

Erik Seidel
Erik Seidel
Erik Seidel raised to 6,000 from the button, Eric Froehlich reraised to 17,000 from the big blind, Seidel popped it to 50,000, and Froehlich pushed all in. Seidel called with his remaining stack, turning over A-K. Froehlich showed J-J.

The board brought neither an ace or king for Seidel, and he's elminated. Table #5 is now four-handed (Froehlich, Juanda, West, and Costner).

Calling Dr. Howard, Dr. Fine, Dr. Howard

Preflop, Leo Wolpert raised to 5,500 on the button and Christopher Howard re-raised to 8,200. Wolpert called and showed {2-Spades}{2-Clubs}. Howard had {K-Hearts}{J-Clubs}. The board came {2-?}{8-?}{Q-?}{K-?}{A-?} and Howard busted out. Wolpert and Michael Gracz are now heads up at Table #2, with Wolpert at 369,000 and Gracz at 231,000.

Jacobo Fernandez Eliminated; Wolpert Riding High

Jacobo Fernandez
Jacobo Fernandez
A big three-way hand over at Table #2 resulted in Jacobo Fernandez hitting the rail.

Fernandez limped in from the cutoff, then Christopher Howard raised to 4,000 from the button. Leo Wolpert then reraised all in -- 121,000 -- from the small blind. Fernandez called with his last 71,000, and Howard called with almost his entire stack as well.

Wolpert {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}
Fernandez {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}
Howard {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

The board ran out {10-Hearts}{A-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, and Fernandez hit the rail. Wolpert is now up to 307,000 (over half of the chips in play), and Howard is hurting, down to 8,500.

Evan McNiff Eliminated

Evan McNiff
Evan McNiff
They are down to four-handed at Table #1, as Evan McNiff has just been knocked out.

Down to his last 26,800, McNiff pushed all in from under the gun. It folded around to William Palmer who called from the big blind.

McNiff {A-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}
Palmer {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}

The board came {J-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{10-Spades}, and McNiff is out.

Sebok Hits the PokerRoad

Evan McNiff limped in on the button and Thomas Roupe raised to 9,000. Joe Sebok re-raised to 35,000 and McNiff folded. Roupe three-betted it all in for about 80,000. Sebok called with {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds} to the {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} of Roupe.

The door card was a heartbreaker -- {Q-Hearts} -- and the whole thing was {Q-Hearts}{6-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{5-Hearts}. Sebok busted out. Roupe is up to 208,000 and McNiff is down to 25,000.
