These players are playing for a lot of money and the glory of a WSOP bracelet, so it's always great to see them take some time out for the fans.
A lot more is at stake here today than just a $1,485,200 prize pool and a gold bracelet. Bragging rights are also on the line. This is the first $10,000 buy-in stud event in World Series of Poker history. Every one of these players would love to make history.
Also, for the hard-core poker players in the field, winning a World Championship in a game other than Texas hold'em would be a testament to their skill as an overall poker player. A lot of strong players remain in today’s field. It should be interesting to see who makes it through this field and makes the final table of this event.
