Gordon and Henson Bust

Phil Gordon is gone, pushing for 775 under the gun with {A-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} and finding a caller in Spil Venetsanopoulos, holding {A-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} on the button. The board an exciting but ultimately fruitless {7-Hearts} {5-Spades} {Q-Diamonds} {K-Hearts} {9-Spades}.

Also no longer in the running is Ray Henson. All in preflop for 1,700 with {A-Spades} {10-Diamonds}, he didn't stand much of a chance against an opponent holding {10-Hearts} {10-Spades}, and the board came an ace-free {K-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} {J-Spades} {K-Hearts} {5-Clubs} to eliminate Mr Henson.

Miz-fortune for The Grinder

Michael Mizrachi and Mark Vos see a {10-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop. Vos checks, Mizrachi bets 1,500, Vos pushes for 5,125 and Mizrachi calls.

On their backs, and Mizrachi has the lead with {K-Clubs}{10-Spades}, Vos behind, but holding a drawtastic {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}.

However, poker is full of surprises, and after the {4-Spades} turn, Vos takes down a meaty pot by spiking a {J-Hearts} on the river.

Whilst Vos jumps up to the dizzy nosebleed-inducing heights of 12,000, Mizrachi drops to 6,000.

Rousso Rouss-OUT

"This is ridiculous!"
"This is ridiculous!"
Vanessa Rousso is out, the result of a poorly timed move. She raised with {A-Diamonds} {9-Clubs} from the button and called the big blind's reraise. They both checked the {J-Hearts} {3-Spades} {5-Hearts} flop and Rousso called the big blind's 800 on the {10-Diamonds} turn. When the big blind bet out 1,125 on the {8-Spades} river she raised all in for 3,025, and was dismayed to see her opponent call and flip over {Q-Spades} {Q-Hearts}. "This is ridiculous!" she exclaimed, "How come you have the same hand all the time?!" as she took her leave.

Singer Out; Feldman Out

As we return from the break, it looks like David Singer didn't last the round and was eliminated shortly before everyone headed off.

Also, Peter Feldman found himself down to the felt (man), and is gone.
