Not FBT Yet

Greg "FBT" Mueller and his opponent got all their chips in the middle with Mueller holding A-7 while his opponent held A-10. On a flop of {A-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} {2-Clubs}, Mueller looked good and was even better when the turn came {7-Hearts}. The river was a blank, giving Mueller the hand and putting him at 27,000 afterwards.

Edler Doubles Up

A middle-position player made it 500 to go preflop and a late-position player raised to 1,400. Bill Edler came over the top for 5,400 more and the middle-position player folded while the late-position player moved all in for another 5,000 more. Edler called and showed {Q-Hearts} {J-Hearts} while his opponent held A-K. Edler spiked a queen on the flop, which held up, boosting him to over 20,000.

His opponent moved all in for 11,000 and Haxton called, only to find that his pocket nines were outflopped by his opponent's pocket eights. Haxton didn't catch a nine and he was eliminated.
