Black was short-stacked and moved in before the flop, with Khan and Elezra calling. The flop came and when Elezra checked Khan moved all in for his last 4,750. Elezra made the call with , which lead Khan's and Black's , and when the board ran out Elezra took the pot and sent Black and Khan to the rail.
With several players limping into the pot Eli Elezra did the same, while not looking at his cards. The flop came and one of the limpers pushed for his last 7,025. "If I have an ace or a king, I'm calling you," Elezra said, and looked down to find that had waited patiently for Eli to discover them. He made the call, won the pot against his opponent's when the board bricked out, and he now sits with 41,000.
Cliff 'JohnnyBax' Josephy and his opponent were all-in preflop with Cliff holding pocket sixes against his opponents pocket fours. The flop came and Cliff was in great shape.
However, the turn brought the and the dropped on the river to give his opponent a straight, eliminating Cliff from the tournament.
Eli Elezra raised preflop from late position and the player in the cutoff called. Mark Newhouse, from the button made it 10,000 to go. Eli moved all in, the cutoff got out of the way, and Newhouse called.
When the player in the cutoff folded his cards into the muck, he announced he was folding kings. Eli, not believing him, grabbed the cards out of the muck and turned them over. Sure enough, he had folded kings.
Newhouse turned over pocket sevens to see Eli's pocket jacks.
"What are you doing?" Eli asked the player in the cutoff after the hand.
"I wonder how you can fold that," Newhouse chimed in.
The board failed to help Newhouse and after the hand he is down to 17,800. Interestingly enough, the pocket kings would have taken the hand down.
When the player under the gun raised to 600, Layne Flack reraised to 1,600 and another player moved in for his last 7,000. Flack called and his dominated his opponent's . The aces held up and Flack is up to 16,000.
Seven players saw a flop of . All seven players, including Huck Seed and Men 'The Master' Nguyen, checked the flop. The turn brought the and Huck Seed, from the small blind, made it 1,100 to go. Action folded around to Men who raised to 2,800. Everyone folded around to Huck, who called and saw the on the river. Huck shoved all in for 6,295 and Men instantly called, turning over for the bottom end of the straight.
Huck turned over the high end, , and doubled up to 24,000 while Men dropped to 2,200.
Boyd and his opponent both held nines in their hand and made a straight on the turn, but the other player also picked up a flush draw and made his flush on the river, eliminating Boyd.
Greg Raymer
Raymer moved in his meager stack from the cutoff and Andy Black made the call. His led Raymer's and when the board didn't improve either player's hand, Raymer was eliminated.
Antonio Esfandiari
Esfandiari and Tilly have been mixing it up quite a lot thus far in the tournament, with Antonio winning this round. He raised Jennifer's big blind and when she called they saw a flop. Jennifer check-called when Antonio bet 1,100 and she did the same when Esfandiari bet 2,200 after the turned. When the fell on the river Tilly checked then folded to Esfandiari's 4,200 bet. He's now up to 18,000 while Tilly fell to 9,000.
