Singer's Set

David Singer limped from the cutoff as did the player on the button as they took a cheap flop of {Q-Spades}{2-Clubs}{J-Hearts}.

The action passed to Singer who opened with a 1,600 chip bet. The button then moved all in for about 10,000 and Singer snap-called.

The button held {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for top pair but was in trouble against the {2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} for a set of deuces for Singer.

The turn landed the {3-Clubs} and an irrelevant {K-Spades} on the river eliminated the short stack as Singer moves to 60,000 chips.

Sommerville Takes a Big Hit

Bertrand Grospellier moved all in on a flop of {2-Spades} {3-Clubs} {5-Hearts} and Jason Somerville made the call. Grospellier showed {A-Clubs} {5-Clubs} for a pair of fives while Somerville showed {A-Spades} {K-Diamonds} for a wheel draw. The turn was the {8-Hearts} and the river came the {5-Diamonds} , giving Grospellier the hand and moving him up to 27,000 in chips. After the hand, Somerville is down to 7,000 in chips.

David's Deuces

With a limper in front of him, David Pham raised it up to 1,900 before the limper reraised all in for 8,500. Pham decided to make the call and was happy to race with {2-Spades}{2-Hearts} against his opponent's {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}.

The board ran out {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and the deuces hold for Pham to eliminate his opponent and jump to 40,000 chips.

Razor Bluffed

With the big blind still at dinner, John Phan decided to raise from the cutoff position to 1,600. Matt Vengrin in the small blind decided to reraise to 5,200 and Phan made the call.

The flop is {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Vengrin checked to Phan who bet out 3,600. Vengrin then made it 7,700 to go. Phan the reraised once again making it 13,900 before Vengrin shoves all in for 23,900 in total. Phan went into the tank and eventually laid it down.

Vengrin showed {A-Spades}{9-Spades} for nothing but imagination as Phan takes a dent to his big stack.

Jimmy Fricke Knocks Out Two Players - Takes Over Chip Lead

Jimmy Fricke just knocked out two players in a row and in the process took over the chip lead. First on a board of {A-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} {9-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} {8-Hearts} , a player moved all in on Fricke and after tanking a few minutes, Fricke made the call. Fricke showed {J-Spades} {J-Clubs} and his opponent mucked.

The very next hand, a player moved all in on Fricke for 7,000 total and Fricke made the call showing {A-Spades} {K-Spades}. His opponent tabled {8-Spades} {8-Clubs}. The flop missed both players when it came {6-Clubs} {9-Hearts} {3-Hearts}. An {A-Diamonds} on the turn gave Fricke the better pair. The {5-Diamonds} on the river sealed the hand for Fricke, and eliminated his opponent.

After these two hands, Jimmy Fricke sits with approximately 80,000 in chips.
