Good Start For Greenstein

Barry Greenstein is up to 19,000 after eliminating a fellow player. Raising it up to 500 under-the-gun, Greenstein received one call from the button.

Greenstein then bet 700, 1,200 and 3,000 respectively on each street of a {J-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{J-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Hearts} board only for his opponent to move all in on the river for a total of 4,650.

Greenstein called the additional 1,650, his {A-Spades}{2-Spades} triumphant against his opponents {J-Clubs}{8-Spades}.

Hachem in Trouble

Joe Hachem has suffered a rather bad beat, betting out 2,100 on an {8-Diamonds} {J-Spades} {9-Diamonds} flop and then calling his opponent's all-in raise. Hachem was thoroughly ahead, holding {Q-Hearts} {Q-Spades} to his opponent's {J-Hearts} {10-Diamonds}, the turn and river came down {A-Diamonds} and {J-Diamonds} respectively to give his opponent a flush and knock Hachem down to just 1,500.

Broadband Disconnected

Just as I was telling Dana that a Tom Broadband exit would supply me with the greatest of titles, over it came, like the receiving of the dead sea scrolls, or another parchment of equal importance.

Of course, this doesn't mean we want to see Broadband depart, but he was up against it in the end, his push with {5-Spades}{5-Hearts} running headfirst into {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}. A {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{J-Clubs}{8-Spades} board was of no use and moments later he was gone.
