Khan Drops Down Too

Also not having a very good last few minutes of the level was Hevad Khan. A gentleman raised to 1,400 UTG and Khan made it 4,000 from the small blind. Khan check-raised the {A-Clubs} {J-Hearts} {9-Hearts} flop to out his opponent in, and they flipped their cards.

Khan: {A-Spades} {K-Clubs}
Opponent: {A-Hearts} {9-Diamonds}

Turn: {4-Hearts}
River: {5-Diamonds}

Khan is down to 24,000.

Disaster for Aguiar

Jonathan Aguiar made it 1,200 in mid position, and the button called.

They saw an {A-Clubs} {7-Diamonds} {5-Hearts} flop and Aguiar bet out 1,250 only for his opponent to raise to 5,000; Aguiar called. He bet out 10,000 on the {6-Hearts} turn, and then called his opponent all in.

Aguiar: {A-Hearts} {J-Hearts}
Opponent: {A-Spades} {5-Spades}

River: {2-Spades}

Aguiar is knocked right down to 3,000, a huge 90% or so of his stack lost to his unnamed opponent.

Big Stack Collision

Tom Antonucci raised to 1,200 preflop, and Alon Shahar called.

He also called Antonucci's 1,800 bet on the {5-Diamonds} {4-Spades} {A-Hearts} flop; again he called 5,000 on the {4-Diamonds} turn, and finally he called 9,000 on the {2-Diamonds} river.

"Nice call," said Antonucci, and announced a fearless, "Queen high."

Shahar turns over {A-Spades} {6-Spades} for what was indeed a good call, and this pot has more or less reversed their stacks, putting Shahar up to 115,000 and Antonucci down to 94,000.

"Let's Get Ready To Rumble"

Andy Black is on around 10,000 and getting antsy. He pushed all in preflop two hands in a row, once to a raise and once as an open-shove, both times forcing his opponents to folds. "Right," he said, as the dealer was shuffling the deck after his second push, "Let's get ready to rumble." He passed the next hand, though.
