Kevin Petersen Eliminated by George Lind

George Lind opened for a 22,000 raise, Kevin Petersen moved all in for 80,000 and after a short stint in the tank, Lind made the call.

Petersen {10-Diamonds} {10-Clubs}

Lind {A-Hearts} {Q-Clubs}

The flop was {A-Clubs} {9-Clubs} {7-Diamonds}, pairing up Lind. The turn was the {2-Hearts}, the river was the {6-Clubs} and Petersen hit the rail.

Lind is now up to 320,000.

David Tashman Doubles Through Jamel Maistriaux

Jamel Maistriaux limped in under the gun and action folded to David Tashman in late position. Tashman pushed for his whole stack of about 30,000 and Maistriaux made the call. The players showed:

Maistriaux: {A-Clubs} {A-Spades}
Tashman: {Q-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds}

The flop came {K-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} {9-Clubs} giving Tashman the lead in the hand. The turn came the {4-Diamonds}, a relative blank, and the river fell the {10-Clubs}. Tashman's three queens were best and he doubled up to 66,000 leaving Maistriaux with just under 46,000 chips.

Thomas Kok Eliminated

Thomas Kok was just eliminated when his {A-Spades} {K-Spades} came up short against the {5-Spades} {5-Clubs} of Richard Lyndaker. The {4-Spades} {3-Diamonds} {2-Spades} changed the dynamic of the hand completely as the players essentially traded outs.

The {A-Diamonds} on the turn was disaster for Kok giving Lyndaker a wheel. The {9-Diamonds} hit the river and Kok's day was done. Lyndaker climbs to almost 125,000 chips after the hand.

Sean Carlson Eliminated

Action folded to Morgan Machina and he limped into the pot. When action got to Jeff Norman on the button, he limped in as well. Sean Carlson, playing from the big blind, moved all in for his last 20,000. Machina called and Norman came over the top all in. Machina folded and the players showed:

Carlson: {10-Hearts} {9-Hearts}
Norman: {8-Diamonds} {8-Clubs}

Although the flop hit both players, it hit Norman harder, coming {10-Spades} {8-Hearts} {6-Spades}. The turn brought some drama as it fell the {10-Clubs}. The {7-Spades} was the river card and Norman's full house was best. He eliminated Sean Carlson and took his chip count up to about 148,000 in the process.

Fager Back in this Thing

Steven Fager, who was crippled to only 1,600 in chips a few hours ago, has made an astounding comeback.

In his last hand, Fager took his {10-Clubs} {10-Spades} up against the {6-Spades} {6-Diamonds} of Albert Iverson. Iverson couldn't improve and Fager sent him to the rail.

Fager is now up to 70,000 in chips

Robert Jarman Doubles Up

Robert Jarman just doubled up to approximately 45,000 when he got all his chips in good holding {A-Spades} {Q-Clubs} against the {A-Clubs} {J-Clubs} of Joanne Haas. Jarman was good the whole way but rivered the {Q-Diamonds} to accentuate the double up. Haas is down to 77,000 after the hand.

Joe Bussey Eliminated

After a series of raises, Joe Bussey and Jose Luis Velador tangled in a hand that saw Bussey's tournament life hanging in the balance. The last of Bussey's 107,000 chips were in the middle and he was holding {Q-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds}. Velador had him beat though as he tabled {A-Hearts} {A-Clubs}. The board helped neither player and Bussey was eliminated. Velador's heater continues as he is now just over 570,000 chips.
