Dan Dianni Crippled

We caught up to this hand on the flop. Most of Dan Dianni's chips were in the middle against a single opponent on a {7-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} {4-Clubs} board. Dianni showed {A-Spades} {A-Clubs} but was way behind the {5-Clubs} {3-Clubs} of his opponent. He never caught up and the one time co-chip leader was left with just 5,400 chips.

Tran On the Comeback

Theo Tran just sent a player home when his {A-?} {A-?} held up against the {J-?} {J-?} of his opponent. An {A-?} flopped for Tran and he now commands a stack of about 45,000.

The very next hand, two other players got all in, one held {A-?} {A-?} and the other had {J-?} {J-?}. It was deja vu as an {A-?} hit that flop as well.

Time Expires on Tehan

Action folded around to Joe Tehan in late position and he raised to 2,000. The big blind made it 6,000 to play and Tehan came along.

The flop came {10-Hearts} {10-Spades} {7-Spades} and both players checked. The {7-Clubs} on the turn had the big blind checking and Tehan bet 4,500. After a quick call, the river came the {6-Spades}. The big blind moved all in for 17,775. Tehan went into the tank, and a clock was eventually called. Tehan failed to make a decision before time expired and his hand was killed. The big blind took down the pot and Tehan lost 10,500 chips on the hand. He now sits on a stack of about 11,000.

Julian LeFevre's Stack Climbing

On a flop of {A-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} Julian LeFevre bet 10,000 from the small blind, the big blind moved all in for 14,000 and LeFevre called.

Big Blind {A-Hearts} {J-Clubs}

LeFevre {A-Spades} {Q-Spades}

LeFevre's hand held up on the {3-Diamonds} turn and {9-Clubs} river and he's now up to 65,000.

Weaver and Gazes Tangle

Bill Gazes limps in from under the gun as did a middle position player and the small blind. Chris Weaver raised to 2,800 from the big blind and it was only Gazes who made the call.

The flop came {9-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} {4-Spades} and Weaver checked. Gazes tossed out a bet of 4,000 and Weaver snap called. The {A-Diamonds} on the turn had both players checking. The river fell the {10-Hearts} and Weaver bet 6,000. Gazes made a quick call and was shown the bad news. Weaver flipped up {A-Spades} {7-Spades} and Gazes mucked {7-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} face up.

Gazes falls to roughly 52,500 chips while Weaver climbs to about 87,000.
